Adolf Hitler was known for the man responsible for the Holocaust and World War II. Worst of all he is the man responsible for killing millions of innocent people. But where did all this evil and hate come from? Could it have anything to do with his youth? Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 to his parents, Alois Hitler, and Klara Polzl (Hoffman). Adolf was born in Braunau, Austria and during his childhood lived in different villages around Linz. He had two siblings, a brother named Edmund and a sister named Paula (Secondworldwar.co.uk). As a child, Adolf was very moody and lazy. He was very unfriendly and had a temperament that was always unpredictable (Wistrich).

Growing up Adolf always wanted to be an artist, but his dad wanted him to be a civil servant. This made Adolf very angry. Adolf's father was a very strict dad. Hitler did not really get along with his father, but had a great connection with his mother (Wistrich). Unfortunately Hitler's father passed away when he was thirteen years old and his mother passed away when he was eighteen years old (Rosenberg). Hitler always had a poor record at school and left before completing his tuition. Adolf began to become fascinated in history and politics between the ages of sixteen and nineteen (Secondworldwar.co.uk). No one will ever know for sure how a normal child named Adolf Hitler could grow up to be such an evil man. Maybe some of it had to do with having such a strict father or having the tragic loss of his mother with who he loved very much. No one will ever know.
